Centura College - Richmond Main

Centura College's Richmond Main campus was a career school at 7914 Midlothian Turnpike in North Chesterfield, Virginia, that operated until the campus closed in 2024. It belonged to the Centura College system, a Virginia-based group of career schools. The Richmond branch campus occupied approximately 23,000 square feet and included 14 lecture classrooms, computer labs, a resource learning center, medical laboratories that simulated a clinical facility, and dedicated labs for welding, HVAC, and electrical training with modern electrical and refrigeration trainers. Instruction centered on diploma and certificate programs in skilled trades and health sciences for adult learners. The campus was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), certified by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in federal Title IV financial aid programs, and approved for the Department of Veterans Affairs Yellow Ribbon Program and military tuition assistance; it also held memberships with the American Welding Society and the National Center for Construction Education and Research. As of 2026, Centura College no longer lists a Richmond location; its remaining Virginia campuses are in Chesapeake, Newport News, and Norfolk, with administrative offices in Virginia Beach.
