About DCPS Career Preparation - CDL Program (United Planning Organization)

The DCPS Career Preparation Program partners with United Planning Organization (UPO) to deliver a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program for DC residents. The 6-week full-time program (M-F, 9am-5pm) prepares students to operate tractor trailers, Metrobuses, school buses, and dump trucks. Participants receive a minimum $900 attendance stipend, transportation tokens, and access to UPO housing and daycare support.
