Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics

Capitol is much different than any other school in the country. We hold extremely high standards & expectations of both our staff & students to ensure the best education possible for the student. Many Omaha salon owners are Capitol graduates, so they recognize the quality of student coming from our program We have been providing quality hair school education since 1923, so we’ve got a great handle on what works.
You will only be as good as those instructing you, so we’ve staffed our school with well-experienced instructors. It is imperative you aren’t crammed shoulder-to-shoulder in a classroom full of students, so we limit the number of students accepted into each class to 16-22 students. In fact, Capitol expanded its campus with additional classroom space at the Bel-Air Plaza in 2021 to responsibly ‘socially distance’ our student body. Now home to our Freshmen portion of the Cosmetology program, you’ll spend your first 8 weeks in a beautifully redesigned salon space to learn the basics of cutting, coloring, styling and balayage styling.
